Real Estate Agent Stories: Why Texas REALTORS® Choose JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate

If you’re an experienced real estate agent considering a brokerage change, you’ve probably read enough recruiting pages. Every brokerage can tell you why it’s different. So here’s a better question: What do the agents who are already there say?

That’s why we created this page. Before you decide on your next real estate brokerage, hear from the REALTORS® and team members actually building their businesses inside JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate. Not actors. Not corporate spokespeople. Real Texas real estate professionals with different businesses, markets, backgrounds, goals, challenges, and definitions of success. Their experiences won’t necessarily be your experience — but their stories can help you decide whether this might be the kind of environment you’ve been looking for.

Don’t Just Take My Word for It

I’m Jeremy Williams, Founder and Expansion Partner of JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate. Of course I’m going to tell you what I believe we’ve built — I’m proud of it. But if you’re an experienced REALTOR® thinking about leaving your current brokerage, you shouldn’t make that decision based solely on what I tell you. Listen to the agents. Ask them questions. Hear why they joined and what they were looking for. Pay attention to what they say about the experience after the recruiting conversation ended — because that’s when a brokerage proves what it actually is.

Elevated Conversations: Hear Directly From Our Agents

Elevated Conversations is a series within the Survive Scale Soar Podcast that gives real estate agents a chance to tell their stories. These aren’t scripted testimonials — they’re conversations. You’ll hear how agents got into real estate, the markets they serve, their specialties, what they’ve learned, the challenges they’ve faced, how their businesses evolved, and what their experience has been as members of JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate. Watch several. Don’t only listen for what agents say about Omnia Elevate — listen for who they are. These are the people you’d be surrounding yourself with.

Why Agent Stories Matter When You’re Choosing a Brokerage

Experienced agents evaluate a brokerage differently than someone getting licensed for the first time. You’ve been around long enough to know that a recruiting presentation and the everyday experience of working somewhere aren’t always the same thing. Maybe you were promised support that disappeared after onboarding. Maybe the broker who recruited you became hard to reach once you joined. Maybe the training sounded impressive but was built mainly for new agents. Maybe you’re producing more than ever but feel less connected — another number on a growing roster. Or maybe nothing is wrong at all; you’ve simply outgrown where you are.

That’s why one of the smartest things an experienced REALTOR® can do before changing brokerages is talk to people who are already there. Not just the highest producer, and not just the person the recruiter tells you to call. Talk to different people — then look for patterns.

What Our Agents Say About JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate

Different agents value different things about this organization — business growth, coaching, leadership access, work-life balance, culture, friendship, accountability, or simply knowing someone is paying attention to where they want to go. Here are some of the experiences our members have shared. (These are individual members’ experiences; they are not typical, promised, or a guarantee of your results.)

Growing production and rediscovering purpose

Raquel Sanchez describes her experience with Omnia Elevate as transformative, pointing specifically to the coaching and leadership she’s received. She shares that it has helped her sell more homes, increase her income, and rediscover the purpose behind her work. Growth isn’t only about doing more transactions — sometimes it means rediscovering why you built the business in the first place.

Building a business without sacrificing your life

Cynthia Disney points to something experienced agents sometimes overlook: work-life balance. She shares that Omnia Elevate has helped her find greater balance while continuing to grow her business, and describes the mentorship she’s received as invaluable to her career. The goal shouldn’t be a business that consumes every hour — it should be one capable of supporting the life you actually want to live.

Leadership that genuinely cares

Judith Peralta speaks to one of the biggest frustrations I hear from experienced agents considering a change: leadership. She describes Omnia Elevate’s leaders as the most genuine she’s worked with, pointing to how deeply they care about the agents they coach and work alongside. You shouldn’t have to wonder whether your leadership knows who you are — or only hear from them when they want something.

Meeting an experienced agent where they are

Pati Juarez describes an important part of our philosophy: we meet agents where they are. She shares that Omnia Elevate meets her in both business and life, with guidance tailored to her individual goals, and describes the culture as inspiring and growth-oriented. The $3 million producer and the $30 million producer aren’t necessarily facing the same problems, and two agents producing the same amount may want completely different lives. Your goals should drive the conversation.

Coaching and training that creates growth

Judith Albarran describes joining JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate as a game-changer for her career, crediting the coaching and training with providing tools she needed to grow — and pointing to something we hope every member experiences: knowing the people around you care about your success. Training becomes valuable when you can actually implement it in your business.

Coaching, mentorship — and friendship

Francie Watson describes her experience in three words that tell a bigger story: coaching, mentorship, and friendship. She points to the combination of extensive real estate knowledge and a real understanding of the challenges agents face every day. We’re building businesses — but we’re building them with people. Relationships matter.

Leadership that’s actually available

Steve Kinney highlights a theme we hear consistently: availability. He describes JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate leadership as available to provide guidance and motivation while building a strong team culture. Accessibility shouldn’t be unusual in real estate — but experienced agents sometimes tell me they’ve waited days for answers at previous companies, or never received one. Leadership should be accessible when it matters: contracts, clients, negotiations, deadlines, and real money.

Look for the Patterns

One testimonial is one person’s experience. Several stories begin to tell you something more. As you listen to our agents and read their experiences, you’ll notice recurring themes:

  • Leadership that is accessible
  • Coaching that meets agents where they are
  • Training focused on implementation
  • Support for business growth
  • Relationships and connection
  • A growth-oriented culture
  • Greater clarity and accountability
  • People who care about the individual behind the production

Those themes matter because they’re the same things experienced agents frequently tell me they’re missing when they begin considering a brokerage change.

What You Won’t Hear Me Promise

Agent stories are powerful — but I don’t want you to confuse someone else’s results with a promise about yours. Joining JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate doesn’t guarantee you’ll sell more houses, double your income, build a team, or find work-life balance. And coaching doesn’t work when someone refuses to implement what they learn. Your results are still your responsibility. What we can provide is an environment: leadership, coaching, training, accountability, systems, resources, relationships, opportunity, and people who want to see you succeed. What you build with those things is ultimately up to you.

Experienced Agents Don’t Need to Start Over

Changing brokerages doesn’t mean erasing everything you’ve built — in fact, the opposite should happen. You’ve spent years developing your reputation, relationships, database, expertise, marketing, systems, brand, client experience, and knowledge. The right brokerage should help you build on that foundation, not force you to start over because you’ve changed the logo required on your marketing. At JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate, experienced agents are encouraged to keep developing their personal brands and businesses while operating within JLA Realty and applicable Texas Real Estate Commission requirements. You’re not coming here to become Jeremy Williams, or to become someone else. You’re coming here to become the next version of you.

You Don’t Have to Be the Biggest Producer in the Room

Culture isn’t built only around the Top 10, and I don’t believe someone’s value to an organization should be determined solely by their production. One experienced agent may join to double their business; another to maintain production while working fewer evenings. Someone may want to build a team; someone else may want to dismantle one. One may want to enter luxury real estate; another to develop a geographic farm. Success is personal. That’s why one of the first questions I ask isn’t “How much did you produce last year?” It’s: tell me your dreams. Because until I understand where you want to go, I can’t honestly tell you whether we’re the right organization to help you get there.

The people around you matter.

Spend enough time around excuses and excuses become normal. Spend enough time around negativity and negativity becomes normal. But surround yourself with people talking about growth, ideas, systems, business, goals, solutions, wins, challenges, family, life, and what’s next — and the conversation changes. That’s the environment we’re intentionally building inside Omnia Elevate. We’re not interested in creating a collection of license numbers. We’re building an organization of people who want to grow.

Watch the Stories Before You Schedule the Call

If you’re seriously considering changing brokerages in Texas, here’s what I’d recommend. Don’t schedule a call with me yet. First, watch a few Elevated Conversations — choose agents with different backgrounds, listen to their stories, and pay attention to how they talk about their businesses and what they value. Then ask yourself: could I see myself surrounded by these people? Next, explore the rest of our website. Read about our commission and fee structure, look at our training, and learn about our leadership. If you’re a team leader, explore how we work with real estate teams. Do your homework — because I don’t want you joining on the strength of a great recruiting pitch. I want you making an informed decision about the next chapter of your business.

Then Talk to the Agents

If you’re still interested after doing your research, ask to speak with agents. I’m comfortable with that — in fact, I encourage it. Ask them: Why did you join? What surprised you after joining? How accessible is leadership really? What’s the training actually like? Does Jeremy really coach the agents? What would you change? What do you wish you’d known before joining? And perhaps the most revealing question: if you had to make the decision again, would you? Don’t be afraid to ask hard questions — you should. Changing brokerages is a business decision. Treat it like one.

Maybe Your Next Agent Story Starts Here

Whatever brought you to this page, I don’t want to begin by telling you what to do — I want to begin with a conversation. Tell me where you’ve been. Tell me what’s working and what’s not. And most importantly, tell me where you want to go. If JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate can help you get there, let’s explore what that journey could look like. If we’re not the right fit, that’s okay too — the relationship matters more than adding another agent to the roster. You’ve heard our agents’ stories. Now let’s talk about yours.

No. Experienced Texas REALTORS® and teams are part of JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate. Coaching and development can be tailored around an agent’s current business, goals, production level, and future plans rather than requiring every agent to follow the same path.

Prospective agents are encouraged to learn from existing members and ask questions about their experiences. Hearing directly from agents can help you evaluate whether the organization’s leadership, culture, training, and support align with what you’re looking for.

Yes. Experienced agents can continue developing their personal or team brands while complying with applicable TREC advertising requirements and JLA Realty policies.

How do I know if JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate is right for me?
